Raising the profile for a modern, state of the art South Yorkshire airport, working in conjunction with Flybe. This integrated campaign held TV at its core, supported with digital, social, print and outdoor advertising.
Doncaster Sheffield Airport needed to raise its profile and increase bookings for flights. South Yorkshire has seen huge investment in its road network, which means getting to DSA is now easier than ever before. The airport also needs to match its rivals, namely Manchester and Leeds/Bradford in terms of destinations – boasting over 40.
We created a 30” TV spot which communicated the benefits of a local airport and the ease of getting there. The proud to be local campaign has been targeted to the South Yorkshire audience through strategic media planning, digital, display, social and print advertising.
Bookings for 2017 flights are up by 60% since the TV advert launched. Awareness of the airport has also increased, with thousands of views on the film and a positive result on social media.
